Jay takes 2nd in class in the Japanese Sprint Series first round at Cadwell Park

On a slightly breezy, cold 1st round of the 2019 JSS at Cadwell Park on the 6th April 2019, Demon Designs Racing's resident race driver Jay came away placing 2nd in class, in the RRG Toyota sprint series driving the DDR Toyota Yaris, sponsored by Nationwide Service Care Ltd, Talisman Tattoostudio, The Inkshop Tadcaster.

Jay, was only 1.3 second’s behind the class winner, Andrew Haw from Skelf Frames driving a much higher powered Toyota Levin.

He also scored points in the Japanese Sprint Series, again finishing 2nd in class to a Honda CRX VTEC.

Mix in a little drizzle around lunchtime and that put paid to any hopes of getting faster and given the nature of the circuit, with 2 decent straights, this was as good as could be expected. . . . . . . (Excuses used from the Racer's official book of excuses)

Still a good day had by all with competition as close as ever and a packed field of runners.
